CapScribe collects no data. The app has no account system, analytics, or advertising, and it does not upload your video, audio, transcripts, translations, projects, Brand Styles, or face-placement results to the developer. iOS may contact Apple for language-resource downloads and App Store purchases as described below.
When you import a video or audio file, CapScribe reads it from your device. Transcription runs through Apple's on-device speech framework, and burning captions into a video runs through Apple's video toolchain on the same device. CapScribe does not upload your imported media during either step.
CapScribe keeps multiple projects in the app's local sandbox so you can reopen them. Each project can include a local media copy, captions, translations, and its visual style. Deleting a project removes its stored copy and project data. Named Brand Styles, including their font design, colors, position, motion, and canvas, are stored in the app's local preferences and can be deleted in the app. Exported video, SRT, VTT, or TXT goes wherever you send it: your Photos library, the Files app, or another app you share to. Once it leaves CapScribe, the receiving app's own rules apply.
In version 2.1, the latest saved video batch can also retain imported media copies, captions, styles, completed outputs, and progress in local app storage for reopening and retrying unfinished items. Recent translation versions and manual-review status are stored with caption data. These records are not uploaded to the developer. A saved-to-Photos indicator records whether an output was saved; it does not read your photo library.
If you choose automatic face avoidance, CapScribe samples frames from the selected video and uses Apple's on-device Vision face-rectangle detector to suggest a caption position. The rectangles are used only for this local layout analysis. CapScribe does not identify people, create or match face profiles, infer who is speaking, or upload the sampled frames or face rectangles.
Speech transcription and optional caption translation use Apple's system frameworks. The first time a language is needed, iOS may download the matching speech or translation resources from Apple. Those resource downloads are handled by the operating system, not by CapScribe. CapScribe does not send your media, transcript, or translation to the developer.
CapScribe offers one non-consumable in-app purchase that removes the video and audio processing-length limits. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Apple processes the price, payment, transaction, and purchase history through the App Store; the developer does not receive your payment-card details. CapScribe receives only the StoreKit entitlement needed to unlock the feature on your device.
CapScribe is not directed at children and asks for no personal information from anyone.
If a future version starts doing something that touches your data, this page changes before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label changes with it.

CapScribe 会在 app 自己的本地沙盒中保留多个项目，便于你重新打开。每个项目可包含本地媒体副本、字幕、译文和视觉样式；删除项目会移除其保存的副本和项目数据。已命名的品牌样式（字体设计、颜色、位置、动效和画布）保存在 app 的本地偏好设置中，可在 app 内删除。导出的视频、SRT、VTT 或 TXT 去哪由你决定：相册、文件 app，或分享给别的应用。离开 CapScribe 之后，适用的是接收方应用自己的规则。
在 2.1 版本中，最近保存的视频批次还可在 app 本地保留已导入素材副本、字幕、样式、已完成成品和进度，便于重新打开并重试未完成项。最近译文版本与人工复核状态随字幕数据保存在本机。这些记录不上传给开发者。“已存到相册”标记仅记录成品是否已保存，不读取你的相册。
你主动选择“智能避开人脸”时，CapScribe 会从所选视频抽取画面，用 Apple 的本机 Vision 人脸矩形检测器建议字幕位置。人脸矩形只用于本机排版分析。CapScribe 不识别人物身份、不建立或匹配人脸档案、不判断谁在说话，也不上传抽取的画面或人脸矩形。
语音转写和可选的字幕翻译使用 Apple 系统框架。首次需要某种语言时，iOS 可能会从 Apple 下载对应的语音或翻译资源；这些资源下载由操作系统处理，不是 CapScribe 处理。CapScribe 不会把你的媒体、转写结果或译文发送给开发者。
CapScribe 提供一项非消耗型应用内购买，用于解除视频和音频的处理时长限制。这是一次性购买，不是订阅。价格、付款、交易和购买记录均由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理；开发者不会收到你的银行卡等支付资料。CapScribe 只从 StoreKit 获取在设备上解锁功能所需的权益状态。
CapScribe 不面向儿童，也不向任何人索取个人信息。
如果将来某个版本开始碰你的数据，本页会在那个版本上架之前先改，App Store 的隐私标签同步更新。
